I finished my black prototype grille. I will send my other grille out to a paint shop to give me a good paint finish. I hate trying to make pinstripes.

Just received my R36 ignition coil caps from VW europe after only a couple week wait. While others are going to be waiting for their's for quiet some time. Also picked up some black wire loom covers to replace the red loom originally from the car.

So I finished my artists render of what I'm going to make my Grill look like when I turn it into a badgeless grill. Winter project baby!!

So I had the R32 back in the shop today to have the steering rack replaced, due to a clunk when turning the wheel back and forth. Had my tech install a BFI subframe bushing insert while he was in there. After bolting everything back up and aligning the beast. Everything is good! No more clunking!
Had my 15,000 mile service done today. Also had them address a clunking sound from the steering/suspension area. They've gone ahead and ordered a replacement steering rack for my car, which will be put in on monday.
Intermittently I've noticed the downshift button on my steering wheel not working. Decided to have it serviced today to address this. My tech found a fault stored for intermittently communication lost to the switch itself. Put a new one in. Everything is good now!
Couple pictures of the culprit!

Long day out in the sun! Awesome day! Took first place in the R32 catagory. I have taken home a throphy from DATR the last 4 years, but this year finally took home a 1st place trophy. Last year taking 2nd place (since the R32 turn-out wasn't that great).

Got my Milltek exhaust FINALLY from Stratmosphere. Had it installed and it is awesome. Actually quieter than the stock exhaust with the resonator removed. But all-around better sounds.

Got a wild hair and wanted to see what the OE rims would look like painted white. Got some dupli-color wheel paint. Man was it a pain in the ass to get it all handled. Came out ok, not 100% happy with it, plannin on getting them powdercoated here soon.

Friend Andy and I finished up the longboard today and it looks frickin sweet! I'm still a little sketchy on the board but getting use to it.
Andy does awesome work with the board and the metal base insert for support (You know how big dudes are :P ) He calls them scallops which I think is pretty funny, yet fitting at the same time. Gotta love the engine turn trim.
