Well, I did it. I had a small accident today. It had been snowing here all night and the roads were icy. I was turning a corner coming into work and slid into a curb *OUCH*. My mechanic has looked at it and so far the right side sway bar is going to have to be replaced along with the wheel and ball bearing. Hopefully that will be all the damage and the frame is still in line.

Logged on: 01/09/2008

Radar detector

I thought it would be a good idea to purchase a radar detector, just in case. After some research I found that the Beltronics 955 was supposedly the best deal. It has been good so far. It definitley works...it has alerted me several times to radar beams before I am able to see a PC or anything. I haven't been on an extended highway outing yet, so I'll see how it does then.

Logged on: 01/01/2008

HPA ups their prices...

I saw today that HPA increased their turbo package prices-FT400 is $17,500 and FT450 is $21,000 (up from $ 13,500). I guess those HPA mods are gonna have to wait even a little longer--ridiculous.

Logged on: 11/10/2007

Looking to upgrade...

So far the R32 has been awesome. I am pleased with the power, drivability, and overall feel of the car. However, I am looking to upgrade. I have searched several sites on the web re: upgrades, and thusfar I am leaning towards HPA. If anyone has had experience with them or any other performance companies, I would appreciate your thoughts.

Logged on: 11/04/2007
